The Long Gallery is both a counselling clinic and art gallery that is located amongst the outer west suburbs where visitors experience private, quiet and peaceful surrounds in which they can rest their body, mind and soul.
The Long Gallery Psychologists are a group of community-focussed practitioners who are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and with Medicare. Together we focus in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression, complicated grief, chronic pain, relationships, separation, workplace conflict, children’s developmental and learning difficulties and even performance and sports psychology.
All good therapy begins with a trusting relationship… but that’s not enough. We believe that best practice methods, evidenced by research, are critical in the process of assisting clients to achieve lasting change. We also believe in creating the best environment for our clients, and as such our counselling spaces are warm and inviting spaces and the Long Gallery gardens and gallery, reading corner and library make it a comfortable place to be, not only for clients but for waiting for family too.
